I am a practising NHS GP with a specialist interest in exercise, nutrition, Cancer survivorship and women’s health. Having worked as a doctor in the NHS for over 20 years, I am passionate about helping people lead longer and healthier lives.
I am a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine and have a Diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine from University College London and a Diploma in Medical Hypnotherapy. I have undertaken specialist training in Menopause Management with the British Menopause Society.
My training in sport and exercise medicine has led to experience working with Paralympics GB and other elite athletes at a national and international level.
More recently, an interest in nutrition has led me to undertake training with the Institute of Functional Medicine and the completion of Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice in 2017. I have experience running lifestyle seminars in the corporate sector and working closely with dieticians and nutritionists to deliver evidence – based advice to clients.
As a Mum of 2 young boys, being active is part of family life. We love nothing more than to escape to forests and mountains! I have played sport all my life and regularly run, cycle, ski and participate in sprint triathlons.
I offer coaching to both men and women to facilitate positive lifestyle changes. My passion is to help people live their happiest and healthiest lives. Please contact me to discuss further.
